In my home village, Meise, I went to primary school, the "Sint Martinus" school. For secondary
education, I went a little further to Brussels. In the reputable secondary school "Jan-Van-Ruusbroeckollege"
I mainly took language courses (English, French, and German) and economics. Mathematics and science
courses were less of my interest.
I decided to go to university in the Netherlands, as I was in favor of the very modern
Dutch educational system. At the University of Maastricht, I followed the revolutionary study called International Business Studies,
which was entirely organized in the English language. I obtained the university master's degree on 21 December 2001.
The International Business study included an imperative six months abroad study. I
decided to study at the L.U.I.S.S. University of Rome. In Rome, I also wrote my thesis about how to build e-commerce trust
applying usability principles. This thesis is publicated on the internet and can easily be accessed by
